We stopped in for a drink and a bite to eat. The bartender is very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. You must get the cheesy fries. You won't be disappointed! We met the owner and he is also a friendly guy. We will definitely return when we come back to Watkins Glen.

If you're cruising through Watkins Glen and want a place with good beer, good food, and zero pretension, Rooster Fish Brewing is the move. Locals and visitors both rave about the craft beer — especially their bold IPAs, smooth stouts, and rotating seasonal brews. The vibe is relaxed but never boring, with a cozy indoor bar and a patio perfect for sipping in the sun. What really sets it apart? The live music. On weekends, local bands and solo acts bring the place to life, creating the perfect backdrop for a casual night out. Whether you're catching a set or just stopping in for a quick drink, the atmosphere is always welcoming. Service is friendly. The food is better than you'd expect from a brewpub (try the burgers or the loaded fries), and the crowd is a mix of locals, hikers, and beer lovers. It’s a spot where one pint turns into three and nobody’s in a rush. Bottom line: killer brews, solid eats, good tunes, and a chill vibe. A must-stop in Watkins Glen.

I stopped in for a quick bite to eat before embarking on our winery adventure of Seneca Lake. The food was good and the atmosphere was a nice pub style. The pouteen was good and the soup was good, my burger was good and the jalapenos on the burger were great! Nice little place to stop in on your way through!

Pub fare with a lot of vegetarian friendly options. Super friendly service and very attentive. Food came out fast on a busy race weekend. Underrated spot worth a visit if you’re in Watkins Glen!

The food was very good. The service was very good as well. The outdoor seating was nice and clearly a heavily desired seating area. The vegan options were tasty though the sprouts were no longer available when we were there.

So glad we came in for a late lunch - fantastic beer and food was outstanding - we had the wings and the Rueben Special and it was the best Rueben we’ve ever had. I even asked for a side of their poutine gravy with my fries - homemade and delicious. We will be back!

Went here Saturday night of Labor Day weekend, coming from out of town. This place has a large dining room and we were sat right away and the waiter came over pretty quickly to grab our drinks and apps. My favorite app was the fried pickles, very crunchy, and not over breaded. They were spear, as opposed to chip, which I love. I got the fish tacos and knew I was taking a bit of a risk, ordering that from a place I’d never been, but they were great! Crunchy and light with some good toppings. My boyfriend liked his burger and the drink was strong and cheap! A band was playing music in the front bar area and everyone was having a great time! Would definitely suggest for some bar food and fun!
